- Provide technical expertise to accomplish analysis of options and development of the design for advanced and complex IT systems on projects which typically involve analyses of systems with high visibility or widespread impact within the agency.
- Perform business and systems analysis, analyze information to determine, recommend, and plan development of new systems or modification of existing applications or systems.
- Support integration of new software by developing interfaces with existing systems and databases.
- Design, develop, and modify software systems, using analysis and models to predict and measure outcomes and consequences of design.
- Develop, maintain, and publish internal standard operating procedures relating to such items as data location, system access, system change procedures, and database design.
- Prepare written reports, correspondence, and documents internal and external to the organization to convey plans, policies, status, and results.
