What’s involved in this role:
We are looking for a soon to be graduate for our Operational Leadership Program for our Hull, IA facility.
The Operational Leadership Program is a two-year program designed to provide a strong skill set and preparation to more effectively lead people, understand Agropur’s business processes, develop business acumen, and successfully deal with challenges that arise in the marketplace.
- The program consists of four rotations of approximately six months each.
- Specific duties and responsibilities vary with each rotation.
- Within each functional area/rotation:
- Ensure a high quality of customer service.
- Successfully gain understanding of specific roles.
- Plan methods to improve efficiency/production.
- Assist in day to day operations.
- Assist in the development and improvement of operations and procedures.
What you need to join our team:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Dairy Manufacturing, Food Science, Production and Operations Management, Engineering or related field required.
- Equivalent combination of education and/or experience may be considered.
Where you’ll be working:
Our Hull, IA, plant is home to about 180 employees. This facility produces various types of cheese, including parmesan, romano, asiago, gouda, muenster, mozzarella, colby jack, colby, cheddar, reduced fat cheeses, as well as whey products. Hull is a city of 2,300 and is close to larger cities, such as Sioux Falls, SD, where shopping, dining, and large concerts are plentiful.
