• Plans, organizes, and oversees assigned activities in the Environmental or Asset Management Division.

The primary purpose of this position is to carry-out a wide range of public affairs assignments that include elements of visual information, social media, media operations, community engagement, command information, communication planning, contingency/crisis response, environmental, security, policy review, and public affairs resource management in support of the mission and the commander's priorities. The position modifies standard methods, evaluates the effectiveness of information, and adapts approaches in developing new informational materials aimed at enhancing the understanding of recipients.

Duties

• Coordinates the planning and development of complex, high level public affairs assignments in support of commander's programs and priorities. Carries out public affairs tasks that support the wing commander's priorities through the integration of visual information, social media, community engagement, command information, communication planning, contingency/crisis response, media operations, environmental, security and policy review, and public affairs resource management activities.
• Maintains an active web/social media presence, provides visual information services for documentation and/or publicity purposes and plans and arranges news media coverage. Evaluates the propriety and advisability of agency support of/ participation in local activities, programs, and events.
• Researches, drafts, coordinates, produces, and reviews public affairs products such as, web-based content, photographs, videos, news and feature articles, news releases, talking points, fact sheets, briefings, speeches and scripts, newsletters, and other materials. These items are designed with the objective of effectively communicating agency activities, programs, and policies to a variety of internal and external stakeholders
• Attends meetings and maintains professional contacts. Explains public affairs policies and procedures and resolves most problems that arise. Determines appropriate recommendations for unresolved issues and performs follow up.
• Manages audio visual equipment for section. Appointed as the Wing Visual Information Manager per current DoD directives. Stays abreast of current visual information methodology and technological developments.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

• Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of the Deployments/Mobilizations Branch and the OPLAN/Force Generation Branch.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Represents Plans and Mobilization Division, to include the Deployments and Mobilization program, OFAMO program, OPLAN/Force Generation program, and the GFM programs, to the USAF, OSD, DoD agencies and leadership, other Federal Government entities, and industry organizations.
• Manages special Plans and Mobilization Division projects by identifying opportunities, coordinating and obtaining approval for project planning, scheduling division resources, evaluating data, and presenting briefings.

1. Materiel Management Supply Chain: Requires the performance of Materiel Management Specialist and Logistics Supply Chain Manager duties to include but not limited to extensive use and knowledge of the Accountability Property System of Record (APSR), collaborating with Defense Logistics Agency (DLA), as well as with sister services or other sources of supply when required.
2. Manages the Accountability Property System of Record (APSR) to ensure all wartime taskings are supportable relative to various systems for the ANG.
3. Attends worldwide meetings as the ANG representative. Participates in AF level conferences, working groups, and meetings as the ANG Representative ensuring ANG senior level awareness and engagement.
4. Coordinates with HAF, Air Force Sustainment Center (AFSC), Air Force Materiel Command (AFMC) Combat Ready Airman Office, Major Commands (MAJCOM) representatives, and other HQs or staff agencies to ensure logistical support of the initial lay-in of equipment is provided.

• Plans, organizes, and directs the activities of ANG IPO, ensuring that the command collateral security program complies with legal and regulatory requirements and meets the needs of ANG Wing and unit commands and members.
• Exercises supervisory personnel management responsibilities.
• Serves as the Branch Chief for NGB A2/6S Compliance and Training Branch and is the subject matter expert (SME) on core processes and procedures for Personnel Security (PERSEC), Physical Security (PHYSEC), Industrial security (INDUSEC), Information Security (INFOSEC) and SCI Cybersecurity.
• Serves as command's security enterprise risk management subject matter expert (SME).
• Serves as an ANG representative on inter-agency, intra-agency, and intergovernmental working groups, committees, and other governmental and industrial associates focusing on national security and intelligence community (IC) information protection.
