Bar Assistant working hours:

As a Bar Assistant you will work 30 hours per week, including weekends with an hourly rate of £12.00 – Regardless of age!

Being a Bar Assistant:

The main function of a Bar Assistant will be to serve drinks to our hotel guests in the bar & restaurant whilst making sure all stock and equipment in the bar area is up to standard. In addition, you will be involved in the evening entertainment from taking payments to participating in bingo calling and overseeing the charity fundraising evening.

As a Kitchen Assistant will be to assist you will primarily be responsible for washing the pots and kitchen equipment, working at speed whilst maintaining a high standard of cleanliness. You will also get the opportunity to assist the chefs in food preparation for service or the following day. General Assistant working hours:

As a General Assistant you will work circa 30 hours per week, including weekends & split shifts with an hourly rate of £11.00 – Regardless of age; which will be increased to £12.00 in April 2024!

Being a General Assistant:

As a general assistant your role will be varied, working in numerous areas within the Hotel operation predominately bar, housekeeping and restaurant with split shifts likely to be required. You will work closely with the heads of departments to assist with their needs and learn how each function works successfully, whilst ensuring company standards are maintained to a high level.
