RESPONSIBILITIES
You will be tasked with delivering technical value to our customers who incorporate our motor drivers, analog and digital magnetic sensors, DC/DC converters, and lighting circuits into their designs. As an integral part of the sales process, your responsibilities will include supporting design-in activities and facilitating technical closure, all while collaborating closely with the product and system engineering teams within the relevant business units at Allegro. A deep understanding of systems is essential, as you will work in tandem with Field Application Engineers (FAEs), as well as marketing and product application teams across various territories, to identify and relay new product technical requirements derived from customer insights. Additionally, you may be called upon to provide technical product training to Allegro's sales force and our franchised distribution network.
Assists the sales staff in assessing potential application of company products to meet customer needs and prepare detailed product specifications for the development and implementation of customer products / applications / solutions.
Provide technical expertise to sales staff and the customer through sales presentations and product demonstrations.
Develop the best technical and commercial solution for a given project.
Identify potential problem areas and actively manage the solution.
Develop and maintain strong relationships with your customer base.
Assist in the development of responses to RFQs.
Provide customer feedback to Strategic Marketing and System Engineering teams to define the next generation of products.
Build a mini application based on customer requirements to demonstrate feasibility of the application, often requiring rapid prototyping and/or product demo for client.
Provide technical expertise through sales presentations, product demonstrations, installation, and maintenance of company products.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
BS/MS Electronic Engineering degree
5+years of working experience at Electronic / Automotive Industries , Experience as FAE in the semiconductor industry would be an advantage.
Good communication skills by developing credibly and providing high-impact technical presentations.
Self-motivated and goal oriented.
Frequent travel in region is required .
