Associate Geoenvironmental Lead
Approach Personnel are pleased to be working with a reputable Geo-Technical and Geo-Environmental Consultancy to recruit an Associate Geoenvironmental Lead as part of their Bristol based team.
This Associate role focuses around leading a team of experienced geotechnical and geoenvironmental specialists to provide consultancy services to clients in a range of sectors. This position is perfect for an Associate or Principle Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Consultant who is looking to take their next steps towards an exciting career with a well established and respected consultancy.
Day-to-Day
As an Associate Geoenvironmental Lead, here’s what your day could look like:
• Conducting preconstruction investigations on site, including ground testing, soil sampling, and data collection and analysis
• Working to prepare and review hollistic risk assessments, technical reports, and strategies, in order to create exhaustive plans of works
• Leading the geotechnical and geoenvironmental projects based out of the Bristol office from project conception to completion, including the management of each contract and the team of engineers and consultants, and the mentorship and training of junior and graduate staff
• Being a vital point of contact for clients regarding their projects, maintaining open lines of effective communication throughout each contract to ensure project objectives are met
About You
• A Degree in either Geology, Environmental Science, Geotechnical Engineering, or an adjacent/relevant field
• Proven experience working for a consultancy based in geotechnical and geoenvironmental engineering, with a strong portfolio of successful projects
• Self-sufficient and Self-motivated, with a strong work ethic and desire to progress
• Ideally Chartered with a relevant professional body like ICE or CIWEM, however not essential
• Computer and Geotechnical Software Literate
• Full UK Clean Driving License and Willingness to Travel as part of the role
Salary and Contract Details
• £55,000 - £65,000 depending on experience
• 33 Days Annual Leave inc. Bank Holidays
