About the role
We are looking for a Marine Assurance Manager, West Coast Australia to assist the Rio Tinto Portfolio Assurance Manager in implementing safety procedures, standards and processes across both company owned vessels, as well as over the broader chartered fleet of vessels calling at Dampier, Cape Lambert and Port Hedland.
This role is a great opportunity for the incumbent to manage Rio Tintos freight exposure in the various shipping markets taking charge of the below accountabilities:
Ensure a smooth and cost efficient operation of vessels through the ports as minimizing total time in port and delivering on customer expectations at all times.
