Are you looking for an opportunity to work as a rural general practitioner? A full-time position is available in Moora, just two hours north of Perth.

Moora, 160km north of Perth has a population of approximately 1800 people, however, the practice services 4000 people from the surrounding small towns.

The Practice
Moora Health Centre is an accredited training practice for general practitioner registrars, for both the RACGP and ACRRM. Administrative staff and full-time practice nurses support the doctors, and there is excellent allied health support in town. The doctors service a range patients and conditions from paediatrics to geriatrics and everything in between.

Supervision and teaching is available at this practice, the practice has many years’ experience in supervising and teaching both GP registrars and international medical graduates.

Moora Hospital is across the road from the practice; the practice doctors attend when required for sick and injured patients. Nurses staff the hospital twenty-four hours per day.


The Requirements
On call is 1 in 4 including weekends
Emergency department work and caring for inpatients at the local hospital. Experience in emergency medicine is essential for this position.
Registration with AHPRA as a medical practitioner.

The Package
A 3 x 2 fully furnished house is available.
Remuneration - $200, 000+ per annum
