As part of the group’s continuing growth, an opportunity has now arisen in the Partner Finance division. BCA Partner Finance aims to provide a simple, straightforward and convenient funding facility with easy to understand charges and a flat rate of interest. They provide the added benefit of funding 100% of the invoice value including fees, VAT and delivery, so dealers do not need to worry about calculating the funding as a percentage of CAP or arranging additional funding.
BCA Partner Finance strives to understand business needs and will work in partnership at every step of the way, sharing our expert industry knowledge and experience. We will provide easy access to funding when needed, helping businesses to prosper by increasing their stocking capacity and improving liquidity.
Due to a small restructure within the finance team, we are now looking for a Finance Manager to report in the Financial Controller, and to manage the transaction and accounting team.
Key responsibilities
The successful candidate will report directly to the Financial Controller and manage the transaction team (2 full time heads and elements of a shared function). The primary focus of the role is to manage the daily transactions and manage the monthly accounting.
Manage the Transactions team and relationship with Shared Services
Own the month end process and hold accountability for balance sheet integrity and reconciliations
Oversee the AR and AP processes and take responsibility for driving improvements in both accuracy and operational efficiency
Develop a strong understanding of the CALMS operating system and work with the enterprise application team to deliver updates and fixes
Support day to day delivery and roll out of the Part Exchange (PX), Other Approved Suppliers (OAS) program and unencumbered transactions for customers
Assist with the implementation and development of controls and systems which enable efficient, timely and accurate production of financial reporting
