The Role
As a Contract Procurement Manager you'll have a role that's out of the ordinary. You will be responsible for the procurement and contract management of work packages from inception through to contract closure.
Day-to-day, you'll manage contract deliverables, supplier progress and performance to ensure effective delivery of contracted requirements.
* Lead negotiations with suppliers to ensure that the most cost-effective supply solutions, contractual risk is minimised and bargaining power across the projects and site is maximised.
* Direct, influence and manage all subcontract activities ensuring delivery to schedule and maximise cost saving opportunities whilst minimising risk to safety and quality.
* Managing contract risks and change, and implementing effective mitigations to meet project cost, schedule and quality requirements.
This role is full time and based onsite at our Rosyth site, near Dunfermline with hybrid working arrangements.
Experience Required of the Contract Procurement Manager
* Extensive experience in managing contract delivery in construction, engineering, or manufacturing sectors.
* Advantageous to have a strong Engineering background and experience of complex engineering projects with EPC methodologies.
Qualifications for the Contract Procurement Manager
* Engineering Degree or equivalent through work experience
* Project Management or equivalent professional qualification
