· Proficient in the operation of all plant equipment to better troubleshoot and maintain as required.

· Communicate with team leaders and production associates regarding critical findings during routine inspections.

· Proficient in using CMMS (Computerized maintenance management system) to record all maintenance activities daily.

· Proficient in maintaining and troubleshooting mechanical systems such as gearboxes, bearing, seals, clutch & brakes, etc.

· Proficient in troubleshooting 230/480 motor control circuits in a manufacturing environment, utilizing multi-meter and other test equipment.

· Must have experience in troubleshooting and replacing VF Drives and other motor control devices.

· Must have experience in troubleshooting PLCs, understanding components and logic.

· Proficient in utilizing line drawings and schematics to troubleshoot equipment.

· Ensuring daily adherence to the Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), Standard Operating Procedures (SOP), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Points (HACCP), and Occupational Safety and Health Act (OSHA) Regulations

· Must be willing to invest time in continuous improvement of technical skills.

Minimum Job Requirements:

Education/Certifications:

· Minimum Associate Degree or equivalent years of experience.

· Must have at least 5+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment

o A minimum of 5 years industrial automation maintenance experience (preferably in a food production facility).

·        Proficient mechanical & electrical skills are required, in addition to basic mathematical skills.

·        Blueprint reading skills, knowledge of the NEC 70 (National Electric Code), and knowledge of OSHA CFR 1910.217 is required.

·        Experience with various measuring instruments, multimeters, amp probes, thermocouples, torque wrenches, micrometers is required.

·        In-depth knowledge and practical application experience in electrical, electronics, PLCs, cutting/welding, hydraulics, pneumatics, and conveyor systems is required.

·        Strong knowledge of Preventative Maintenance procedures is required.
