Neighbourhood Services Team Leader
(Refuse & Recycling)
Scale 5 £32,115 - £37,938 per annum
37 hours per week

Working as part of a team of Supervisors, you will be co-ordinating approximately 45 staff who are drivers and loaders responsible for household refuse and recycling collections across a growing district of 44500 households/properties in Blaby district.
An HGV driving licence is required for this role as is the flexibility to be on site leading on shifts starting at 6am from our depot located at Enderby Road Industrial estate, Whetstone, LE8 6HZ
You will have:
• IT skills sufficient to update staff records and spreadsheets to ensure accurate data records
• an eye for detail ensuring our teams are compliant with our health and safety and good working practices, reinforced through regular toolbox talks.
• confidence to undertake first line management responsibilities, including recruitment, one to one’s and return to work meetings for which training will be given.
• you will foster across team working, including liaison with our Transport Service, Health & Safety, Customer Services teams and the recognised trade unions.
