Salary £28,632 per annum

We have an exciting opportunity for an eager and diverse person to join us as a Team Leader A day in the life of a Team Leader involves: - Being responsible for the management and monitoring of health projects and activity. Ensuring they are in line with standards, policies and legal requirements.
- Providing daily management of the service and overall support for the function.
- Ensuring that area needs-assessments for health based services are carried out.
- Establishing good working relationships with appropriate partners and working to increase our Health capability and output in the local area.
- Liaising with the Operations Managers and Business Development Managers to create new business.
- Maximising the use of our capacity and capability. This will widen the contribution that the British Red Cross can make in responding to crisis.
- Contributing to the development of plans and budgets.
- Ensuring beneficiaries' needs are being met through a range of user engagement monitoring.
To be a successful Team Leader you'll need: - Good everyday IT literacy, working knowledge of Office 365.
- Ability to prepare, manage and monitor budgets.
- Experience of leading people: motivating, directing, and supporting others to achieve the Red Cross vision, mission and strategy.
- Ability to contribute to the development and achievement of operating/functional plans.
- Strong influencing and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to collate and interpret a range of management information including statistical information and user feedback.
- Organisational skills-planning, managing and monitoring own and others workloads.
- Ability to drive (with full licence and own transport) and willingness to go out into the community for meeting and networking opportunities.
The post requires some evening and weekend work. You'll be part of a regular 24-hour duty officer on-call rota and potential emergency response duties at any time throughout the year.
