The role and key duties:

• Support the Manager in all aspects of managing the multi site services for adults who may have a profound learning disability and/or physical disability
• Manage and work with the care team to ensure the smooth running of the services including ensure all staff training is up to date, care planning, staff rotas
• Adhere to all internal policies and procedures, and all relevant legislation in line with CQC

The ideal person for the role:

• You will ideally have relevant experience of managing and supporting to manage teams within a similar setting

We are currently seeking an organised, motivated Admin Officer to support the admin team based at Blackburn Magistrates Court. There may be times where cover will also be needed at Burnley Magistrates Court. The role will include preparing papers and files for court, tribunals, hearings and meetings; creating and updating records, including collecting information; data input, communicating with the Judiciary and other court staff and handling face to face, telephone and email enquiries from court users. The role will also consist of CVP preparation and hosting. Training will be provided on internal systems. Excellent communication and IT skills are required for this post.

• Able to follow well established processes and detailed instructions.
• Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

Job Description:
We are currently seeking an organised, motivated Court Usher to be based in Burnley with occasional travel to Blackburn and Preston. (this may include working the occasional occasional Saturday and bank holiday) Training will be provided for the successful applicant. Duties will include but not be limited to:

• Collecting and delivering files and bundles to the judiciary and clerks ensuring they have the necessary papers
• Providing support to colleagues & judiciary outside of court / hearing times

• Arranging and supporting court hearings
• Assisting the general public when attending hearings.
