Electrical Engineering Manager - Facilities Management - Stevenage - Up to £55,000 plus excellent benefits.

Are you an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager with experience in the Building Services industry?

This is a fantastic opportunity to join one of the largest Facilities Management companies in the UK working at one of their prestigious clients' sites in Stevenage.

Salary: Up to £55,000 plus excellent benefits.

Hours of work: 40 hour working week.

Location: Stevenage

Role Responsibilities:

• Responsible for the technical oversight of all site electrical systems, ensuring they are operated, maintained, diagnosed and repaired to the appropriate standards.
• Analyse complex electrical systems to understand faults and performance limitations, make recommendations to address short-falls and delivery improvements.
• Develop, introduce, and maintain electrical operating instructions and related documents.
• Chairing weekly and monthly Electrical meeting with the client to update them on status and planning for inspection works, fault rectification and performance reviews.
• Control and maintain electrical drawings, procedures and certificates as required.
• Ensure risks are appropriately documented and managed.
• Review data integrity in the client CAFM system, EAM, to ensure statutory requirements are met or exceeded, ensure correct maintenance for all electrical assets is in place.
• To ensure compliance with the latest statutory and regulatory standards.
• Provide technical expertise for the design, installation, testing and commissioning of all site based electrical systems.

The successful person:

• Electrical Engineering HNC or equivalent.
• 18th Edition Regulations
• In-depth technical and operational knowledge of Electricity at Work Regs
• City & Guilds 2360 Part 1 & 2 or equivalent NVQ & C&G 2383 -18.
• 5 years + experience of installation, testing and maintenance and operation of HV/LV distribution systems.
• Extensive experience of working in a similar role within the Building Services industry.
• C&G 2391-52 Inspection & Testing, & C&G 2396 Design & Verification of Electrical Installations would be desirable.
