This Stores Operative role is on a 6 month contract that is likely to go on for longer and has become available due to continued growth and expansion based on the Howdens site in Runcorn.

Role Responsibilities will include:

• Stock counting and checking
• Stores 5s.
• Goods in and goods out
• Stores ad hoc duties.

Skills and Experience required:

• Previous warehouse/ stores experience
• Experience working in an engineering environment would be desired but not required
• Good customer/ client communication and organisational skills

This position is working days with a shift pattern of: 4 days 7am - 7pm, then 4 days off.

Job responsibilities

• Quoting (scope would come from others)
• Turning the quote into an order
• Order the parts from the main vendor
• Coordinate with the customer the date to do the service
• Organise lift & shift and vendors being ready for items to refurbish while we do the job
• Coordinate with the service team the right engineers
• Make sure the surplus delivery gets booked back into the system and larger deposit items back to the vendor
• Coordinate with accounting the job is finished in the system and the costs are allocated and invoices written.

Requirements

• Strong administrative skills
• A technical mind. From a workshop or similar type of background

Role: Supply Chain Administrator

Salary: £25,000 - £30,000

Job responsibilities

• Work collaboratively and partner with different departments to ensure that efforts to maintain internal/external satisfaction are consistent.
• Order and track parts orders for service and projects including following up on back orders if orders not received in full.
• Manage the custom process for imports and exports. Communicate with our custom broker and work collectively with other team members (i.e Logistic, Warehouse) to receive the parts and/or get them shipped.
• Maintain and develop the lubrication management. This includes organising the lubrication oil supply, disposal as well as organising oil filter waste collection and providing appropriate bins/bonds for on-site disposal and storage.
• Create, maintain and develop minimum stock level for critical items.
• Update the ERP system (Microsoft Dynamics 365 - NAVISION) with purchase and sales prices for parts.
• Interface with each department- assist and support in maintaining the processes relating to lifting equipment - valid Thorough Examination (6-12months) certificate for both service and projects including workplace equipment, e.g. FLT's- lifting equipment.
• Tool calibration process Interface with each department -Tooling calibration -assist and support in the management of engineer's calibration of tooling in the service department ensuring the items have a tooling calibration certificate are available and accurate.

Requirements

• Must have full working knowledge of Microsoft office to include day to day experience of excel sheets, excellent report writing skills and document management experience.
• Any experience with Microsoft Navision is preferred but not mandatory.
