Creative Support are looking to employ a Maintenance Operative to work as part of our Mobile Maintenance Team attending to general maintenance jobs at Creative Support properties. Duties will include basic plumbing, general carpentry, seasonal gardening and decorating. Applicants should be competent tradespeople who can demonstrate a positive “can do” attitude and who have experience in completing repair and maintenance jobs to a high standard.
Most properties visited by the team are located in the North East of England but, they may be required to attend jobs outside of this area.
Applicants should be pleasant, reliable, flexible and hardworking individuals who take pride in their work and be respectful of our tenants and their homes.
It is essential that all applicants are able to participate in the On Call rota (covering evenings, weekends and bank holidays on a roster basis)
Full driving licence essential. A work vehicle will be made available for work purposes only.
Applicants will be subject to an Enhanced DBS Check
Note: that additional payments are made for On-Call, including generous flat rate payment and enhanced payments when called out.
