Revenue:


Oversee night audit function and preparation of daily financial reports
Develop plans to increase occupancy and ADR through walk-ins and upselling at the front desk

Check billing instructions and guest credit for compliance with hotel credit policy and ensure all transactions are handled in a secure manner
Train team members on telephone procedures and serve as a central communications point during emergency/crisis situations

The Finance Manager will maintain all effective controls and be responsible for the timely completion of the management reporting for the hotel, in accordance with objectives set by the Finance Controller, including, Month End, Balance Sheets, VAT Return, Cash Flow and Audits

Duties and Responsibilities:


Ensure the month end P&L is produced on time, with all accounts accurately viewed and reconciled to ensure that accurate reflection of the Hotel true financial results.
Reconcile all Balance Sheet Accounts monthly
Liaise and co -operate with both internal audit and all External audit bodies.

Assist in the preparation of Budgets, Forecasts and Call Over’s

Skills & Experience:


Finance Qualification: CIMA, ACCA or AAT (or equivalent)

Maintenance Manager duties will include:


Lead and manage the maintenance team to ensure efficient operation of the hotel's physical infrastructure.
Develop and implement a comprehensive preventive maintenance program.
Oversee all maintenance activities, including plumbing, electrical, HVAC, and carpentry.

ROLE OVERVIEW (maternity cover):

This exciting role will play a pivotal part in the launch and execution of a new lifestyle brand, delivering ‘brilliantly considered stays’ across 10 locations in Europe.

Working under the direction of the Marketing Director, we are looking for a passionate and strong Senior Marketing Manager to help lead the marketing team, coordinating the launch plan of the brand, the individual hotels, and their F&B outlets.

This is a unique position in shaping the launch of a brand from scratch.

You will develop the programming and partnerships for each hotel alongside the dedicated local and global PR agencies and will ensure Miiro’s objectives and goals are developed and implemented.

JOB DESCRIPTION:

MARKETING & BRAND STRATEGY

Marketing Strategy: To guarantee success in this role, the candidate needs to have a good understanding of how to develop, execute and deliver a strategic marketing plan for the launch of the brand, individual hotels, and the respective food and beverage outlets. You will help to develop marketing campaigns and initiatives, creating budgets and timelines, and coordinate with the internal teams to ensure successful implementation. You will need to have a self-directed drive to seize opportunities for commercial growth.

Brand: Be a brand ambassador for Miiro as well as a strong leader who embodies our values and commitment to our team. Ensure that when executing our marketing strategy, all channels have brand consistency, are aligned in achieving ROI and raise awareness of the brand, hotels, and F&B outlets.

Collaborate with internal teams: Working closely with the individual hotel teams – sales, revenue management and operations to ensure marketing initiatives are aligned with overall business objectives.

PROGRAMMING & PARTNERSHIPS

Partnerships: Proactively suggest new promotions and partnerships for F&B outlets and the hotel. Manage F&B calendar of events and promotions plus analyse and report on campaign performance. Oversee photoshoots.

Programming: Plan and execute a range of events across the brand pillars, providing opportunities for data capture and database building. Collaborate with the wider marketing team to develop promotional materials and sales tools that support the programme and content strategy.

Evaluate and present new opportunities across existing and emerging digital platforms for collaborative campaigns.

DIGITAL & SOCIAL MARKETING

Working closely with the Director of Marketing to creatively approach the design and delivery of strategic campaigns, including creative development, social media, email marketing, paid advertising and website landing pages.

Website: Manage and maintain the websites, ensuring all content is optimised to meet business objectives.

E-Marketing: Oversee the newsletter calendar, producing engaging content for maximum return.

Social Media Management: Help to manage social media channels and plan relevant content for each hotel and the overarching brand, together with the agencies and in accordance with brand guidelines. Assist in increasing engagement, followers and brand awareness.

Reporting & Analysis: Demonstrate solid ability to report on web and digital activities alongside strategic recommendations.

KEY SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES:


Minimum 5+ years’ experience in a similar role.
Experience in F&B marketing (restaurants and bars).
Fluent in English and French.
Solid attention to detail and time management skills.
Strong written and communication skills.

About The Role

To be fully conversant with the facilities, services and special promotions offered by the hotel and to pass this information on to the guest whenever the possibility arises to maximise hotel sales.
To ensure that you are aware of hotel availability and take every opportunity to maximise room sales. Increase room revenue by supervising effectiveness of room category upselling.
To anticipate guest needs, act upon and follow up guest requests and deliver a level of service and responsiveness that generates compliments.
Ensure that all charges are correctly posted to the guest’s bills following the standard procedures.
Deal with cash, cheque, and credit transactions in accordance with the hotel and company policy, and to ensure that any discrepancies are reported immediately.
Ensure all messages received for guests are passed on accurately and as quickly as possible.
Carry out security checks at regular intervals with special emphasis on security, fire and safety.
Check hotel guests in and out and assist with luggage when required.
To operate the hotel switchboard and deal with all internal and external calls, according to procedure.
Ensure a sound knowledge of the local area regarding history, places of interest and special events and where further information can be obtained.
Actioning of early morning calls at the time specified and to the standards laid down.
Cleaning of areas as requested, removal of all trays from public areas, bedroom corridors as necessary.
To complete all relevant training as and when required.
To show willingness to take on additional responsibilities when necessary.
To have a thorough knowledge of and adherence to the law with regards to the following company regulations:

Key Responsibilities:

Join our dynamic team as a Senior Group Sales Executive , where teamwork and collaboration are key! In this role, you'll work closely with various departments, focusing on converting and handling incoming inquiries. Unlike traditional reactive roles, you'll leave the contracting, planning, and payment tasks to the Reservations team, allowing you to focus on moving on to the next business opportunity.

You'll also be responsible for distributing leads that exceed our guidelines or fall within the portfolios of our Sales Managers and Directors of Sales. Additionally, you'll play a crucial role in generating new business from our own platforms, databases, and historical data, optimizing existing opportunities while our sales team is out creating new demand. This position is ideal for a proactive in-house seller looking to excel in conversion and drive business growth.


Handling Enquiries: The role is responsible for:

Responding to group enquiries from all platforms (CVENT, HOTELPLANNER, MYEVENTSCHANNEL)
Managing enquiries from shared inboxes
Qualifying leads
Follow-up and conversion
Upselling on existing business (F&B, upgrades, M&E services)


Supporting SM & DOS: The position will assist with:

Monitoring enquiry funnels, generating reports, and tracking tentative bookings
Supporting SM in deploying local tactics and managing a small portfolio of MICE & GROUP agents for new business development


Demand Generation: Using on-site tools, the role will prospect new business from:

CVENT PLANNER and other business development tools
Past/lost business and cross-property business from other Hyatts/Cycas
Market research projects as directed by SM (e.g., prospecting new contacts at local universities)


Platform Management: The role will also update offers on all platforms and listings, manage the local database, and help generate demand from existing channels.
Building Relationships: The candidate will build rapport with agents, frequent clients, event organizers, and sales teams from sister properties.

Post Stay Survey, forward thinking approach to understand what went well or wrong during their stay and set foundations for future business.

The Financial Controller will maintain all effective controls and be responsible for the timely completion of the management reporting for the hotel, in accordance with objectives set by the Finance Controller, including, Month End, Balance Sheets, VAT Return, Cash Flow and Audits

Duties and Responsibilities:


Ensure the month end P&L is produced on time, with all accounts accurately viewed and reconciled to ensure that accurate reflection of the Hotel true financial results.
Reconcile all Balance Sheet Accounts monthly
Liaise and co -operate with both internal audit and all External audit bodies.
Ensuring that an effective program of on property audit is in place
Assist in the preparation of Budgets, Forecasts and Call Over’s
Review management information, financial operational controls & processes


Skills & Experience:


Finance Qualification: CIMA, ACCA or AAT (or equivalent)
Ideally having worked in a similar accounting role
A person with hunger to progress, energetic, persistent and an inquisitive mind.
IT skills include MS Excel and MS word.

Job Scope

The Finance Assistant (FA), will provide general assistance in all areas of the hotel accounting function enabling the Accounts Manager to provide timely and accurate financial information to the Local management of the Hotel, Regional Financial Controller, Chief financial officer of the Management Company and Owners. The FA will support all, in maintaining sound control, procedures, adhering to Company policy in respect of administrative, accounting and legal matters and exercising proper management over the business assets.

Operations


To collect, process and consolidate daily Reception and F&B Banking and ensure all documentation is filled prior to collection from G4S.
Daily checks to be done for all Cash Refunds
To check Paid Outs daily for authorisation
To prepare and control the change and Float requirements for Front Office and Outlets in the Hotel
To undertake surprise float counts monthly in Reception and all F&B Outlets
To audit, prepare and issue Cashiers float counts daily
To ensure all Cashiering related discrepancies are dealt with promptly
To issue, control and reconcile all Petty Cash payments
To ensure all foreign currency exchange has relevant backup, according to Money Laundering requirements; if applicable
To Check, investigate, post corrections, balance and compile a reconcilaition consolidated report for Credit Cards daily
Daily check and log all Credit Card Refunds
Reply to all Disputed Credit Card queries in time provided by Bank.
Daily prepare and issue the Daily Management Report to all HODs of the Hotel
To check and prepare summary sheet for the Daily Revenue Allowances, Voids, No Sales, Complimentary & House Rooms for authorisation from relevant Exec Managers
To check if all Revenues have been posted to the correct Revenue Streams
On a monthly basis – check, process and ensure gratuities & incentives are authorised by the relevant Managers


Credit Control (Accounts Recievable)


To check Sales Ledger invoices for accuracy, i.e. correct rate, Company / Travel agent name, address and ensure that all relevant information and backup is attached.
All Invoices need to be sent either by post or email within 5 working days of them being City Ledgered.
All Sales Ledger queries received from Guests and Companies to be dealt with on the day received.
Create and process concessionaire invoices as well as credit notes as and when required.
To administer and communicate the process and requests of "new" client set ups on Opera.
Check, create & send Airline Invoices / summaries to Airlines as agrred.
Hold weekly meeting to monitor that Paymasters (One Accounts in Guest Ledger) are being closed off on a timely basis
