The Opportunity

As the Non-Conformance (NC) Manager, you will oversee the effectiveness of NC processes for the HPC project, including Internal, Manufacturing, and Site operations. What you’ll be doing

You’ll work closely with the NCR management team to develop and deploy tools and processes for non-conformance resolution across the HPC project. Your responsibilities will include ensuring the effectiveness of NCR processes across manufacturing, site, and internal operations, and maintaining alignment between these areas.

You’ll oversee a team of NCR Facilitators, monitor non-conformance resolutions, and ensure compliance with contractual requirements, escalating issues as needed.

Additionally, you’ll provide reporting and trend analysis to key stakeholders and contribute to the continuous improvement of NCR management practices across the project.


Who you are

You will have experience in project delivery, ideally within the nuclear power sector, with a focus on quality management across engineering, procurement, manufacturing, construction, and commissioning.

You’ll need a strong understanding of quality assurance and control best practices, as well as the ability to influence and advocate for practical solutions while remaining open to new ideas.

This role requires excellent communication skills, with experience in preparing presentations, interfacing with project teams, supply chain, and building relationships with both internal and external stakeholders. You’ll be a proactive team player and able to work independently, influencing project outcomes.

What you’ll be doing
As the Commissioning Environment Compliance Lead, you will play a vital role in enhancing Environmental Safety performance by managing risks across the Commissioning program. You’ll establish meetings to plan and review environmental activities aligned with the HPC Safety Management System.

You will produce performance reports for the Head of Commissioning Authority, highlighting trends and recommending actions. Engaging with the team on environmental risks, you will support regulatory interfaces and maintain safety risk profiles. By conducting risk assessments and inspections, you’ll ensure compliance with legal duties.

Collaborating closely with Health, Safety, and Environmental professionals, you’ll support emergency preparedness and effective Environmental Incident Management. Additionally, you’ll implement environmental management strategies during commissioning and work with stakeholders to mitigate risks in a highly regulated environment, particularly in the nuclear industry.

Who you are

To thrive as the Commissioning Environment Compliance Lead, you should have a degree or equivalent experience in an Environmental or related discipline. Your excellent communication skills enable you to build strong working relationships within EDF and the construction/environmental sectors. With extensive experience in writing, implementing, and reviewing environmental specifications and risk assessments, you ensure adherence to best practices.

You excel at identifying environmental risks and presenting complex data clearly, driving informed decision-making within your team. Chartered membership or relevant experience in site investigation and understanding of nuclear power industry is highly valued. What you’ll be doing

As a Senior Commercial/Supply Chain Manager, you will oversee the daily management of Commercial and Supply Chain Managers and their Assistants, while maintaining strong relationships with suppliers.

You will ensure that all commercial team activities align with established procedures and oversee the development and delivery of a robust Commercial and Contract Strategy.

You will manage stakeholder engagement, addressing risks related to Contract Delivery, Suppliers, and the Supply Chain.

In the procurement phase, you will support the Commercial Lead by reviewing procurement routes and ensuring alignment with project schedules. During the execution phase, you will lead contract management, ensuring compatibility across projects, including Scope of Work, Prices, Key Personnel, and Contract Administration.

Finally, you will be responsible for efficiently managing the closeout phase of each contract, ensuring all requirements are met and finalised.


Who you are

We’re looking for proven and experienced Senior Commercial Managers, with experience in FIDIC and NEC 3&4 suite of contracts and major projects, as well as knowledge of UK law and its impact upon the contracts and commercial function. You’ll also demonstrate a good understanding of procurement, contract performance measurement, risk, change and claim management.

You’ll be able to work across multiple discipline teams to develop, implement, and operate commercial strategies and contractual agreements. You’ll have a big-picture view and be able to develop and execute innovative approaches to commercial delivery for the benefit of the project.

Member of the RICS / CICES / IOB / CIPS or equivalent professional body is desirable.

The Opportunity
EDF EPR Engineering UK (EPR-E) is tasked with delivering the design for several nuclear island (NI) buildings, systems, and equipment contracts for the Hinkley Point C EPR Project. This involves working through an integrated team, supporting HPC construction and commissioning efforts, and preparing design replication feasibility and engineering activities for the Sizewell C Project. What you’ll be doing
Ensure that all project documentation adheres to company and project standards through effective quality assurance practices. Oversee the accurate distribution of deliverables and project documents, resolving any issues that arise in the documentation process. Who you are

What you will be doing

In this crucial role, you’ll offer support when an issue arises on site with construction and installation and be part of a team who assess the acceptability of issues and develop design solutions to address them promptly. This role involves answering and resolving queries for non-conformance, design changes, and exemption requests, which require categorisation based on their nuclear safety and environmental impact. You will critically assess the feasibility of challenging design decisions to ensure they align with project strategies, collaborating closely with the technical team to find effective solutions. Other roles and responsibilities in the role include:


- Ensure compliance with Nuclear Safety and Environmental Regulation requirements through thorough oversight.
- Gathering input data, analysing/updating hypothesis notes, and preparing loading description reports.
- Performing mechanical stress analyses: piping flexibility calculations, piping supports calculations, or any analysis required to resolve encountered issues.
- Advocate for design decisions that align with the project's strategic objectives.
- Coordinate with external organisations to provide necessary support.
- Contribute to resolving and closing Open Points effectively.
- Evaluate technical risks and implement mitigation strategies accordingly.
- Foster a strong relationship with EDF EPR Engineering (Responsible Designer).
- Report directly to an Engineering Lead on operational matters.


Who you are

Although a degree in a relevant subject matter would be advantageous, it is not essential. With this said, we are looking for you to hold the following skills and experiences to complete this role:


- Proficient in piping and support design for nuclear systems, installation, and commissioning.
- Familiarity with piping design principles such as mechanical sizing, piping flexibility calculation and support calculation.
- Knowledge of QRA, EUROCODE, ASME and RCC-M code
- Demonstrated application of multidisciplinary technical expertise in the nuclear industry.
- Familiarity with the construction and installation sector.
- Understanding of Health & Safety legislation, including CDM and Nuclear Site License requirements.
- Experienced in welding engineering principles.

What you will be doing…

You will act as the primary contact for contract holders regarding all matters relating to delivery and safety. Your responsibilities will include the following activities:


- Prepare field reports and anticipate logistical and regulatory issues (in particular).
- Support the monitoring process — which includes drafting monitoring programs and guides, assisting controllers — ensuring compliance with security, safety, and quality requirements, and monitoring the documentation issued by contract holders.
- Ensure adherence to these monitoring programs.
- Coordinate critical or high-stake activities and facilitate the communication with other departments and stakeholders.


Who you are…


- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering or HSE.
- You have proven experience in carrying out or monitoring work on large-scale sites. Knowledge of nuclear facilities would be an asset.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll assess HVAC requests that may impact the discipline, gathering relevant inputs, evaluating design impacts, and producing technical assessments and solutions with thorough justifications. This includes performing aeraulic and anchor plate calculations, conducting system analyses, and ensuring alignment with design intent. You’ll collaborate with the RD Back-Office and execution designers, monitor deliverables, and initiate change processes as needed to address site requests effectively.

You’ll manage all aspects of the change process and act as the point of contact for design modifications, interfacing with contract and construction teams. This role includes tracking modifications requested by engineering teams, contractors, and clients, and conducting system engineering reviews with all stakeholders involved. You’ll regularly report progress and challenges to the HVAC Discipline Lead and raise alerts for any emerging design issues.

In addition, you’ll support the closure of design open points after HVAC package delivery, contribute lessons learned, and share technical insights within the JDO-DT HVAC team. Through team meetings and organised feedback collection, you’ll promote continuous improvement in HVAC processes, helping the team achieve both project and individual objectives.


Who you are

As an HVAC Technical Lead, you’ll hold a degree and have experience in HVAC systems, particularly in EPR or other nuclear projects. You’ll be skilled in nuclear site engineering and proficient in 2D and 3D design software like AutoCAD and Navisworks, with experience in 3D model visualisation for layout analysis. Additionally, you’ll understand general HVAC layout principles specific to nuclear projects and be familiar with the operational and safety aspects of nuclear power stations.

You’ll be an effective communicator to collaborate with diverse teams. You will analyse design impacts and implement solutions while ensuring compliance with industry standards and addressing engineering challenges in a regulated environment.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll be responsible for defining the work scope of the assigned contract or package, ensuring it integrates seamlessly with other programme elements. You will collaborate with the project team to secure necessary resources, monitor personnel needs, and ensure resources maintain the required skills and qualifications. Additionally, you’ll work to ensure all contractual requirements are fulfilled and maintain effective working relationships with project team members and stakeholders.


Who you are

As a Project Manager at Hinkley Point ‘C’, you bring a strong foundation in project management, with a deep understanding of EPR design and its application in complex projects. You have demonstrated leadership in managing large-scale engineering initiatives and multi-discipline EPCM projects, while applying your knowledge of CDM regulations and nuclear quality standards. Your ability to use tools like estimating, scheduling, risk management, and Earned Value Management ensures successful project delivery.

You possess excellent analytical, and critical reasoning skills, paired with effective presentation, influencing, and facilitation abilities. You should hold a degree and chartered status in construction, engineering, or a related discipline. Experience working within regulated environments, like the nuclear sector, and knowledge of commercial arrangements such as NEC and FIDIC enhance your ability to manage complex contracts, costs, and risks efficiently.

What you’ll be doing
As the Supplier Quality Delivery Lead (SQDL), you are accountable for delivering supplier quality improvements on behalf of the Quality Delivery Managers (QDMs). You maintain a prioritized plan for Supplier Quality Development activities, coordinating multi-disciplinary resources to meet HPC requirements. You manage Supplier Development Leads (SDLs), ensuring they have the necessary skills and experience, while also supporting and coaching them. Building strong relationships with senior HPC teams allows you to influence improvement activities and promote continuous enhancement.
You collect and analyse supplier performance data to validate development requests and consolidate learnings from improvement plans. Additionally, you manage the budget for quality improvement projects and oversee the creation of Supplier Quality Delivery Charters to ensure timely and effective project delivery.

The Opportunity

At Hinkley Point C (HPC), we are constructing two new nuclear reactors, marking the first of a new generation of nuclear power stations in the UK. Once operational, these reactors will provide low-carbon electricity to power around six million homes.

As the Senior Project Manager, you’ll report directly to a Delivery Manager and manage the contracts for the design, manufacturing, and supply of equipment for the HPC Project in 3 main areas: Valves, Pumps and Static Equipment.

HPC is both of high profile and high complexity. Its delivery will be reliant not only on innovative engineering and construction but also on the strongest of leadership qualities. As a Senior Project Manager, you’ll ensure its delivery meets safety, quality, time, and cost objectives.

What you’ll be doing

In your role, you’ll be leading the delivery of a contract or work package, coordinating closely with other programme elements. This includes making sure your team has the necessary resources and addressing any personnel issues as they arise.

You’ll create and execute strategies in line with the Programme Execution Plan (PEP), covering all aspects of delivery, from the "why" and "what" to the "how" and "who." Communication with stakeholders will be key as you drive safe, on-time, and on-budget delivery, while also monitoring progress and reporting on key milestones, deadlines, and budgets.

You'll be responsible for identifying risks, resolving issues, and escalating concerns when necessary. Additionally, you’ll capture lessons learned, share knowledge with the team, and collaborate with other programmes to adopt best practices and ensure contractual requirements are met.

Fostering strong relationships within your team will be essential, as you'll lead three Lead Project Managers and their teams (whole team size is roughly 15).


Who you are

You have a proven track record of delivering projects in complex, regulated environments, ideally within Nuclear Energy, while ensuring safety, security, and environmental responsibility. You’re skilled at managing engineering design, contract strategies, multi-discipline projects, procurement, and complex contracts. Skilled in controlling costs, risk, and schedules, you have successfully handled commercial claims and negotiations, demonstrating your ability to manage projects from concept to handover.

Your leadership stands out in engaging and influencing stakeholders, with strong management skills across project, financial, and change management. You’re experienced in using scheduling, programming, and risk tools, and have managed contractors and consultants on large construction projects.

With excellent communication, presentation, and organisational abilities, you’re adept at building relationships and maintaining networks. A degree in engineering, manufacturing, construction, or a related field, and a Project Management qualification are desirable but not essential.

What you will be doing

As a Configuration Controller, you’ll play a key role in maintaining and managing the site’s configuration, ensuring everything aligns with the established management processes for your designated area. You'll be the go-to person for configuration-related queries, helping to streamline the construction phase of HPC.

This role demands exceptional technical and organisational skills, coupled with the ability to cultivate strong relationships with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders. Your ability to connect and collaborate will be key to driving success in this position!

Your responsibilities will include:


- Keeping the Plant Configuration Registers and List of Applicable Documents up to date for your assigned area.
- Serving as the primary contact for Plant Configuration during HPC's construction phase.
- Tracking and updating the List of Applicable Documents as Design and Site Changes occur.
- Managing interfaces between work packages on the permanent works to ensure smooth coordination.


Who you are

As a Configuration Controller, you’ll use your expertise to ensure the seamless control of engineering documentation and adherence to industry standards. Here's what we’re looking for:


- HNC/HND in Engineering, Manufacturing, or another relevant technical discipline
- ICM CM2 certification or equivalent qualification/experience
- Experience managing engineering documentation like Redline Drawings and Work Pack management
- Knowledge of Configuration and Nuclear Plant standards
- Familiarity with change management processes and requests
- Excellent communication, organisational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently
- Strong numerical and analytical abilities with meticulous attention to detail
