Applicants with relevant experience and qualifications will be considered for the Band 4 Senior Finance Officer- Development Role (Stage 2).
We are looking for someone who is confident and ambitious, looking to join or further a career in NHS finance. Working alongside a fantastic Team of Management Accountants and Divisional Accountants, we are looking for an individual who can use their initiative, be courageous and proactive, to support the Division and its Budget Holders.
Due to the global pandemic there have been many challenges our Finance team have had to face, and we are looking for someone with excellent communication and relationship building skills to join our Finance Family. These skills will be heavily relied on as the team are currently working remotely Full Time, so new staff can expect a warm ‘remote’ welcome but will need to have the ability to build relationships with the team and division whilst working from home.
Support available to continue professional development will be discussed with the successful applicant.

These exciting opportunities will allow the successful candidates to work in an engaging and forward-thinking organisation, develop and hone in on your own professional and academic abilities, and be responsible for key objectives such as:
• Working with the Financial Management Team, to produce comprehensive and timely monthly reporting of the Divisions' financial position.
• Supporting the budget setting process of the Divisional revenue budgets.
• Assisting in the training of budget holders and managers in budgetary management and control.
• Assisting in the training and development of individuals within the Financial Management Team and wider department.
