We require an experienced Project Manager to develop and deliver the Transformation of Roads & Estates project within Place Services & manage links to the wider Council of The Future (CoTF) change agenda. The Project Manager will work closely with the service in supporting the Council’s ambitions in delivering transformational change and service improvements within Roads, Grounds Maintenance, Street Cleansing and Bereavement Services, playing a significant role in the Council’s ongoing financial viability and in delivery of the Falkirk Council Plan.
Our ambitious Council of the Future (CoTF) Change Programme requires someone who can apply their skills and experience to help develop, a clear programme plan, robust business cases, clear progress reporting and benefits tracking processes.
You will be an experienced Project Manager with Prince 2 Practitioner, MSP Practitioner or equivalent qualification and relevant experience. You will have significant experience in supporting project & programme management and change management work. You will be able to multi-task whilst operating to tight deadlines and maintaining an attention to detail. You will be a team worker who can work in partnership with project managers, have the ability to influence and challenge stakeholders.
This post is temporary for 18 months, until September 2025, to cover a temporary project.
