CS6326 - 26.67 hours per week term time
CS6314 - 15 hours per week term time
At the Advanced level you will be providing teacher and pupil support to enhance pupil achievement. This will include working with pupils of all ages and abilities in a secondary school setting. As required at advanced level, you will also undertake a wide range of whole school support activities and pupil support with regards to the general supervision, safety, care and wellbeing of the pupils which could include covering our medical provision. You will also be required to carry out Administrative tasks.
Good communication and organisational skills are required and you should enjoy working as part of a team. You should be dynamic, enthusiastic and enjoy working with young people. You should have some experience of working with young people, ideally in an educational setting. Successful candidates must be prepared to undertake training in Manual Handling and First Aid should you not have this.
If you are interested in teaching but would like to gain some experience in a classroom environment this would allow you to work with young people in a secondary setting.
The working hours will be discussed at interview and negotiated prior to starting. They will be on a term time basis.
These posts are temporary until June 2025 due to service requirement.
If you are the successful candidate, you will be required to gain/ maintain PVG scheme membership.
