My client are a well-established, reputable Main Contractor with a family feel and a reputation for excellent build quality and customer care. They are a growing business with lots of opportunities for career development and professional growth.
They have an exciting opportunity available for an experienced Construction Manager to join them on a permanent basis.
The company work with a number of large clients across the UK in the retail, leisure and commercial sectors, working on both refurbishment (internal and external) projects and new build extensions.
The Construction Manager would work closely with senior management, and would be responsible for managing a variety of contracts at high level.
Your duties will include:
- Programme delivery and planning
- Regular liaison with the client and contract reporting
- Building internal and external relationships
- Providing regular progress updates and resolving any issues as and when they arise
- Overall staff responsibility and man management of a team of Site Managers, Assistants Site Managers, and Foremen and direct and subcontract plant and trades.
- Ensuring high standards of Health and Safety
The successful applicant will come from a Main Contractor background and have experience of delivering multiple contracts across the Leisure/Commercial/Retail Fit Out sectors.
Please note - travel across the UK will be required as part of this role
The company will offer a competitive basic salary of up to £65k plus package.
