Job Description
Are you interested in an administrative career within an Education environment? There are a number of full-time and part-time positions in schools and Early Years establishments. These posts are a combination of term-time (41 week and 39 week contracts) and 52 week contracts. You will be responsible for the effective delivery of clerical tasks and administration processes to support the efficient operation of the school. Your line manager will be the Head Teacher. You will be supported by the Administration and Business Support Team for all administration and digital developments. Some aspects of the role include reception duties, telephone enquiries, dealing with emails, maintaining accurate pupil records, operating digital programmes, collating data for local authority returns, advising parents/carers about enrolments, providing guidance about placing requests and advising on admissions. You will support the procurement processes and other financial transactions relating to the school. Undertaking routine cash handling duties where required, including banking, receiving and recording payments for uniform sales, establishment activities, trips, lunch monies etc. Other general office duties e.g. photo-copying, filing, document preparation, assisting with the arrangement of free school transport and other trips/outings etc. Candidates must be proficient in the use of all Microsoft Office Packages. Training and support is available for all successful candidates. This position is subject to Membership of the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme.
