HRGO are hiring for a Helpdesk operative on behalf of the Hospital Health Centre. As a Helpdesk Operative, you will be responsible for providing technical support and assistance to hospital staff, patients, and visitors. This role requires excellent communication skills, a strong customer service orientation, and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, including desktops, laptops, printers, and other peripherals.
- Assist with network connectivity, password resets, and system access requests.
- Document all support requests and resolutions in the helpdesk ticketing system.
- Escalate complex technical issues to the appropriate IT support team members.
- Maintain knowledge of hospital health centre's IT policies and procedures.
- Assist with the setup and configuration of new IT equipment for hospital staff.
- Provide training and guidance to end users on IT systems and applications.
- Contribute to ongoing process improvement initiatives within the IT helpdesk team.
Skills:
- Good customer service.
- Competent in Word and computer literate
- Ability to work in a team and under pressure
- Ability to work alone if required
- Able to multi task
- Able to complete ad-hoc admin duties
Working hours: Monday - Friday 8am - 5pm
£11.44 ph
Basic DBS required
