I'm working with a public sector authority in the Merseyside region, who are looking for a security, H&S, and assets manager to join their facilities services division.

Your new role
You will primarily be responsible for corporate assets and buildings, health and safety procedures, compliance, and security soft services provision across the estate.

Your job role will break down into 2 main categories:
1. Be directly responsible for on site security and front of house team across the estate
2. Be the lead for all estate H&S issues, and help implement all H&S policies

Key duties involve:
- Lead and develop H & S on behalf of corporate asset related matters, (Fleet & Estates)
- Develop policies and procedures, imparting information to department officers, vet contractors and consultants for compliance with H & S legislation and ensure policies and procedures are implemented.
- Direct responsibility for estate security and FOH staffing, rota's and service delivery
- Undertake H&S reviews
- Be responsible for reviews of the facilities service provision
- Identify areas of compliance vulnerability
- Create delivery processes for internal auditing
- Support the head of facilities in developing SLA's

What you'll need to succeed
Essential:
- NEBOSH
- IOSH

Desired:
- Experience reviewing H&S policy and procedure
- Experience in soft services management
- Experience managing security staff

Our client is a reputable personal injury law firm based across the North of England. They are currently recruiting for a Legal Training Manager. A competitive salary and hybrid working structure is available.

Your new role
This Legal Training Manager role will see you provide legal training to all colleagues across the firm. You will create and manage competency frameworks for all legal departments. The role will see you supporting the operations team, identifying development needs against relevant competency framework. Creating, designing, preparing and facilitating all areas of legal training to meet the requirements of the firm. You will work alongside the legal management team to create and manage annual legal training and monthly training schedules. Successful applicants will ensure core competencies for each role are identified, and outstanding training is provided.

What you'll need to succeed
This role is open to qualified solicitors/CILEX as well as non-qualified legal professionals. Previous experience of handling your own litigated caseload of personal injury files is essential. Supervision of personal injury fee earners is also essential. Legal training experience is favourable, however, it is not essential. This role would be suitable for experienced personal injury fee earners looking to transition into a legal training position. Awareness and understanding of ICOBS 8 and Treating Customers Fairly is desirable.
