We are seeking a motivated and determined individual to join the provision team of an SEN school in Salford, providing excellent support and care for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).

Responsibilities:

• Supporting students with classroom learning and outdoor activities
• Fostering a safe and supportive learning environment for students
• Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and parents to support each student's development
• Implementing positive behaviour management strategies and de-escalation techniques

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with students with SEND
• Patience, empathy, and a passion for supporting students with SEND
• Strong differentiated communication techniques
• The ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team
• A proactive and caring attitude

Your new role
You will be responsible for carrying out general Teaching Assistant duties, such as helping set up the classrooms and working closely with pupils who need extra support. You will need to have the ability to adapt to work with pupils of all abilities.
