Job Summary:
We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our dynamic team in Reading, UK. The successful candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing electrical systems across residential, commercial, and industrial settings. Key Responsibilities:
• Installation and Maintenance:
o Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems and components, including wiring, lighting, and control systems, in accordance with relevant standards and regulations.
o Perform routine inspections and testing of electrical systems to ensure functionality and safety.
o Upgrade and modify existing electrical systems as required.
• Fault Finding and Repair:
o Diagnose and troubleshoot electrical issues efficiently and effectively.
o Provide prompt repairs to minimize downtime and ensure continuous operation.
• Compliance and Safety:
o Ensure all work complies with the latest IET Wiring Regulations (18th Edition) and other relevant standards.
o Adhere to all health and safety protocols, conducting risk assessments where necessary.
o Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry best practices and legislative changes.
• Documentation and Reporting:
o Prepare and maintain accurate records of all work performed, including job reports, maintenance logs, and compliance certificates.
o Communicate effectively with clients and team members regarding job progress and any issues encountered.
• Client Interaction:
o Provide excellent customer service, addressing client inquiries and concerns professionally.
o Offer technical advice and solutions to clients to meet their electrical needs.
• Team Collaboration:
o Work collaboratively with other electricians and tradespeople on various projects.
o Participate in training and development activities to enhance skills and knowledge.

Experience:
• Experience:
o Minimum of 3 years of post-qualification experience working as an electrician in residential, commercial, and/or industrial settings.
o Proven experience in installation, maintenance, and fault-finding of electrical systems.
• Skills:
o Strong understanding of electrical diagrams, blueprints, and specifications.
o Proficient in using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment.
o Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
