- Estimate and prepare competitive bids for new project
- Determines labor based on component needs including any special processes, testing, or outside prossessing
- Prepares Quotes and Cost Estimates
- Apply pricing standards to estimate costs
- Determine material requirements and manufacturing processes needed to complete quotes/orders
- Work with Engineering, Supply Chain, Sales, and/or other departments to determine methods and pricing for unusual or new orders
- Maintain effective contact with customers
- Provide input and feedback on issues relevant to customer programs and marketing initiatives
- Work independently with moderate supervision.
Requirements
- 3-5+ years of estimator or equivalent work experience
- Bachelor Degree. or equivalent work experience, or any combination of education and experience
- Experience with multi-level bills of material
- Experience in the Semi-conductor industry, preferably Gas Delivery Systems/Welding/Fabrication
- Experience reading/using/understanding Engineering prints/drawings/documents, especially as it relates to welding and fabrication
- Welding and Fabrication knowledge for Stainless Steel and other Semi-Conductor industry-related process materials
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills including but not limited to Vlookups, Pivot Tables, VBA
- Excellent analytical and mathematics skills
- Ability to work independently and demonstrate initiative
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong MS Office, Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint skills
- Solid Knowledge of MRP, Oracle and Agile systems
