SUMMARY :
HR managers plan, coordinate, and direct the administrative functions of an organization. They oversee the recruiting, interviewing, and hiring of new staff; consult with top executives on strategic planning; and serve as a link between an organization’s management and its employees.
Job Responsibilities:
- Formulate recruitment/manpower strategies to develop a healthy talent pool for critical positions.
- Set and implement the overall recruitment process for both local & overseas (from posting, sourcing, screening, interviewing to background checking and hiring).
- Manage all employee matters, counselling/disciplinary, reward & punishment, transfer and dismissal etc. processes and ensure abide by the labour and industrial relation legislation requirements.
- Administer employee compensation package & benefits programs and recommend changes to ensure competitiveness. Work out with leaders to develop and implement strategies for workplace change and reform to deliver improved business outcomes, comprising improved employee engagement and workplace culture.
- Responsible in the implementation of the appropriate measurement for employee performance appraisal (KPI).
- Organize and implement the pre-promotion assessment of cadres.
- Establish and carry out in-house employee training programs that addresses company training needs such as new employee on-boarding, departmental cross-training etc. Evaluate the effectiveness of training to improve the team quality and enhance company development. Manage training records of all employees and identify the area that needs training for each employee. Manage HRD Corp budget, allocating funds to key areas for personnel engagement and development.
- Implement Human Resource procedures / policies and oversee the overall Human Resource functions for the Company. Design, develop and lead the implementation of the career development pathway.
- Responsible for employee working life cycle administration that includes on-boarding and off-boarding administration. Identify and recommend improvements to internal standard operating procedures, including team restructuring and morale building
- Develop and manage the HR budget, ensuring efficient allocation of resources.
Job Requirements:
- Minimum Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources, Management/Business Studies/Administration/ Manager or equivalent
- Minimum 7-10 years of working experience in Human Resources Management, preferably in F&B / FMCG industry
- Proficient in HR software, payroll systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Well-versed in Malaysian Employment Act, Industrial Relations Law, Trade Union Act as well as other guidelines and code of conduct as prescribed by the relevant authorities.
- Exceptional communication skills and ability to present to small-medium groups, like training programs, internal communications, workshops and facilitate meetings.
- Strong strategic HR expertise with the ability to develop and implement effective HR strategies that align with business objectives.
- Ability to build strong relationships with employees at all levels of the organization, including senior stakeholders.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Multi-tasking, resourceful, and proactive with a sense of urgency.
