We have a fantastic temporary opportunity working for a paramedic training centre in the heart of Manchester City Centre. Youll be working Monday to Friday, 8:30am-4:30pm with an hourly rate of GBP12-GBP14 per hour.
No two-days are going to be the same and you will be offering a variety of administrative and customer service support.
The centre is extremely busy and is looking for an energic, enthusiastic and dynamic person to join the team
What you will be doing as an Information Desk Assistant?
- Manning an information reception desk and dealing with people face to face
- Signposting students with information
- Dealing with the daily inbox mail, responding to queries
- Dealing with travel claims, speaking with students to follow up information, checking that claims are fully completed before processes
- Recording all travel on an excel spreadsheet before sending them off for payment
- Arranging for interviews, sending out interview information, setting up and booking of meeting rooms
- Updating timetables with regards to meetings and updating excel spreadsheet
- Ordering of uniforms, updating uniform tracker and ensuring they are laid out in the stores room ready for collection
- Designing and creating posters in and around the building relating to events, training and freebie Friday
- Communication across the different sites dealing with both internal members of staff as well as other professionals and stakeholders
- Maintain stock levels updating administration forms and updating tracking system
- Booking of rooms, checking the layout of rooms and numbers required, working with a yearly calendar - updating the academic spreadsheet

- Excellent customer service skills
- Strong administrative and organisation skills
- Multi skilled and transferable skills
- Intermediate excel skills, able to work with formulas and set up new spreadsheets
- If you have worked in Education or training would be useful
- Need to be energetic and able to think on your feet
- Experience using MS Office inc Excel and Teams
