Keystone Human Services has an exciting opportunity for a Compliance Manager. This is a hybrid position, supporting operations in the Harrisburg, PA area.
This position supports all compliance functions of the Corporate Compliance Program and assists in structuring programs to ensure the processes are efficient and comply with regulations and licensing. The Compliance Manager will conduct audits and investigations, develop policy and procedures and compliance education.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to -
Develops, maintains, and revises policies and procedures for the general operation of the Compliance Program and related activities to prevent illegal, unethical, or improper conduct.
Periodically reviews and updates the Standards of Conduct to assure continuing relevance in providing guidance to management and employees.
Provides support in the management of the Compliance Hotline.
Assist in identifying potential areas of compliance vulnerability and threats.
Acts as communications channel to receive compliance issues, collaborating with other departments to direct concerns to appropriate personnel for investigation and resolution.
Helps the Compliance Department respond to alleged violations of rules, regulations, policies, procedures, and Standards of Conduct.
Monitors, and as necessary, coordinates compliance activities of other departments to remain abreast of the status of all compliance activities and to identify trends.
Participates in the development of corrective action plans for resolution of problematic issues, provides guidance on how to avoid or manage similar situations in the future.
Acts as an independent review and evaluation body to assure that compliance issues/concerns within the organization are being appropriately evaluated, investigated, and resolved.
Assist with development of an effective compliance training program, including appropriate introductory training for new employees, as well as ongoing education for all employees and managers.
Remains up to date with all relevant laws, statutes, and policies
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree required, Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of three years of experience in a healthcare organization or Human Services/Behavioral Health organization.
Strong foundation in operational, financial, quality assurance and human resource procedures with the ability to read, understand and apply laws and regulations.
Ability to interact with all levels of staff and interdisciplinary teams to achieve established goals.
Ability to communicate both orally and in writing and to be able to read, interpret and apply written information.
Computer proficiency in MS Office and able to learn other software as needed.
Ability to pass required background checks and clearances.
Valid driver’s license and, depending on work location, may be required to have daily access to privately maintained and insured vehicle
