Principal Transport Planner

Birmingham

Principal Transport Planner required for a market leading consultancy who specialise in Transport Planning and Highways Design. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a reputable company who work on a range of projects in both the private and public sectors. This company are truly committed to staff development, and you will truly play an integral role within the team.

Candidates will need experience within a similar role and have a working knowledge of transport planning standards and processing. You will need experience with writing assessments as well as modelling, including working with ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG or similar.

The successful candidate will be joining an existing team of 25 during an exciting period of growth as they open their third office, located in Birmingham. You will be responsible for preparing documentation such as transport assessment and statements. You will also be responsible for junction modelling and preparing and presenting technical data and drawings.

The role will initially be a standalone position, supported by the other two offices, however the opportunity offers progression into a leadership role as the team grows over the next couple of years.

Principal Transport Planner Role:

· Transport assessments and transport statements
· Junction capacity assessments using ARCADY, PICADY and LINSIG
· Prepare travel plans and plan coordination
· Liaison with clients, contractors and national authorities
· Office based with occasional travel requirements (approx. 1x a month)
· Support proposals and new tenders
· Mentorship of junior team members

Principal Transport Planner Candidate:

· Experience in a similar role
· Degree (or equivalent) in transport planning, geography, civil engineering or similar
· Holds chartership or an interest to work towards this (company can provide support towards this)

· Proven experience delivering projects within budgets and timeframes

· Knowledge of both highways and drainage

· Experience using AutoCAD, Civil 3D and Microdrainage

· Experience managing contract documents

· Knowledge of section agreements including S278, S38, S104 and S106.

Coffee Machine Engineer

Covering Birmingham and the surrounding areas

£30,000 to £35,000 DOE + Overtime + Van (which can be used for private use) + Holidays + Bank Holidays + Call Out 1 in 4 Weekends

8AM - 6PM Monday to Friday

Service Engineer required for a well-established and growing company who provide and service coffee machines for a vast range of reputable companies. On offer is comprehensive training on their products.

Candidates will transfer from a coffee machine servicing background and must be able to demonstrate strong electrical skills in both 3 phase and single phase and basic mechanical skills will be considered. Candidates must have bean to cup machinery knowledge.

The role will be working to an allocated service route and attending customer sites to carry out service, repair and installation work. The successful candidate will be required to complete service documentation and maintain levels of stock.

The company service every major type of coffee machine, are well established and have built a brand associated with quality and professionalism.

The Coffee Machine Engineer Role:

* Installation and maintenance of coffee machines
* Planned maintenance and Reactive breakdown work
* Field service role in and around Birmingham
* Monday to Friday with a requirement to work some overtime and 1 in 4 weekends within an on call rota basis.

The Coffee Machine Engineer:

* Electrical/Mechanical service experience
* From a coffee machine service/repair background
* Experience of both 3 phase and single phase
