We are currently looking to recruit an Operations Supervisor to oversee the daily supervision of our Mobile Engineers who work within Northern Scotland including Inverness, Aberdeen, Dundee and Perth on our retail and banking contracts. The Supervisor will be responsible for providing guidance to engineers across the region to achieve the highest level of service to the buildings' occupants in the most cost effective, technically competent and safe manner.
Main Duties- You will act as the liaison between the Engineers, Mitie & the clients ensuring excellent communication between all before, during and after the work is completed. Ensure all tasks are carried out to the highest standard of customer service and that work is completed on time, within budget and meets Service Level Agreements or Key Performance Indicators. Undertake supervision, coaching, support and development for team members by carrying out the day to day management including performance and training records. Build effective relationships with the client, answering queries, keeping them informed about ongoing work. Carry out tool box talks and audits to engineers and our clients sites.
We are looking for- The Supervisor will have knowledge in a skilled or technical area - preferably HVAC, Mechanical, Electrical or Gas. This position requires an individual with good people, communication & organisational skills and someone who is computer literate. Someone who can work as part of a team and be a leader to the engineers they will be responsible for. Can demonstrate understanding and leading by example for health and safety. Understands the relevance of tool box talks and safe systems of working. You will be responsible for the delivery of a PPM schedule and will require an understanding of that.
