As the senior Operational Estates professional the post holder will provide expert advice on all building and engineering matters and managing various OpEx and CapEx projects across the Trust Estate. The Deputy Director also acts as the Quality lead ensuring that there is a culture of continual improvement across the Estates function ensuring that the Plan, Do, Study, Act methodology is embedded within the Operational Workshops to drive continual improvement. Working with the Deputy Director of Estates Strategy, Planning and Capital Development and Associate Directors of Estate the Post holder will also provide support and oversight to the associated Estates functions, including, Capital Planning and Delivery, PFI Management, Sustainability and Specialist Services. The post holder must be capable of executive decisions making and taking responsibility for acting on those decisions and implementing the requirements being individually accountable outcomes. In addition the post holder will be professionally responsible and accountable for the standard delivery, continual monitoring, risk management and review of Estates and Facilities services to ensure a professional, high quality, cost effective and efficient service to meet the demands of the organisation, its staff and patients. Clinical Echo workload includes: Standard Transthoracic, inpatient and outpatient service Cardio-Oncology Echo service Physiologist delivered contrast and bubble study service Scientist and Cardiologist delivered Transoesophageal Echo service Scientist and Cardiologist delivered stress echo service Scientist and Physiologist led Valve Clinic service with capacity for on the day bike Stress Echo. Community based Echo service across multiple sites All complex echo services are provided from both of our acute hospital sites

As Director of Elective Care Recovery and Improvement for the North East and North Cumbria Provider Collaborative, you will work closely with the Managing Director and Chief Executive SRO to lead the work of the NENC Elective Recovery and Improvement Programme and have the ability to drive strategic, systemwide transformation and business change in order to ensure benefits are realised. The post holder will develop and deliver clinically led short, medium and long-term plans for the system in relation to elective recovery and elective improvement, in full collaboration with all stakeholders. This will include working collaboratively across North East and North Cumbria providers and commissioners to build high levels of support from stakeholders in the programme and to ensure that plans to deliver required improvements in performance against national elective standards are developed and implemented. A key responsibility will be to continue to develop the culture of collaboration across the Provider Collaborative.
