As Director of Elective Care Recovery and Improvement for the North East and North Cumbria Provider Collaborative, you will work closely with the Managing Director and Chief Executive SRO to lead the work of the NENC Elective Recovery and Improvement Programme and have the ability to drive strategic, systemwide transformation and business change in order to ensure benefits are realised. The post holder will develop and deliver clinically led short, medium and long-term plans for the system in relation to elective recovery and elective improvement, in full collaboration with all stakeholders. This will include working collaboratively across North East and North Cumbria providers and commissioners to build high levels of support from stakeholders in the programme and to ensure that plans to deliver required improvements in performance against national elective standards are developed and implemented. A key responsibility will be to continue to develop the culture of collaboration across the Provider Collaborative. Please note it is a requirement of The Newcastle upon Tyne Hospitals NHS Foundation Trust that all successful candidates who require a DBS for the post they have been offered pay for their DBS certificate.The method of payment is a salary deduction from your first months pay.
