Position: School Finance Assistant

Our client is a selective girl's school (with a mixed Sixth Form) for approximately 2000 students aged between 11 and 18. The school operates across two campuses located at Tonbridge and Sevenoaks. The school is over-subscribed each year for the 270 places in Year 7. Students join the school from a range of areas around West Kent, East Sussex and South East London from a variety of different backgrounds.
They are looking to appoint a Finance Assistant on a full time permanent basis. The school is split across two campuses so travel to both Sevenoaks and Tonbridge will be required. The role will be all year round, 37 hours per week. Monday - Thursday is 9am - 5pm and Friday's are 9am - 4.30pm with 30 minutes unpaid break.
The Support Team Staff consists of approximately 60 members of staff who support the successful day-to-day operations of the School. The Finance Department provides a highly effective and efficient financial function to all staff. Led by the Chief Finance Officer, the Department consists of:
- Finance Manager
- Finance Assistant
- Finance Admin Assistant
They are seeking to appoint a suitably qualified, experienced and motivated individual to take up the post of Finance Assistant. This role will support the Director of Finance, Finance Manager and Budget Holders in all aspects of financial processes.
You will need experience of Sales Invoicing, Cash Collections, Credit Cards / GPC Cards, Recharging and Purchase Orders. Experience of SIMS, Parent Pay and School Finance would be an advantage.
