What we’re looking for from you to join our team:
As Finance Business Partner you will provide proactive financial support and advice to budget holders based on a sound understanding of the relevant dedicated business area. The support and advice provided should underpin good business decisions by those using the financial information provided.
The post is key to the relationship with budget holders, and is customer facing, providing the conduit between the Finance team and operational areas of the business.
The Finance Business Partnering team have key links to other areas of the Finance team including Rent and Service Charges team, Payments team, Treasury and Planning, as well as to all business areas within the Directorates for which they are responsible from a finance support perspective.
For this particular role, we’re looking for someone with knowledge of income reporting ideally, to pick up the following areas of responsibility:
Analysis of rental and service charge income
Business partnering with the Rents & Services Team to:
Translate income information into the management accounts
Collate rents and service charge budgets/forecasts
Maximise recovery of service chargeable costs and provide analysis for those that aren’t
Report and analyse on the income impact of void properties
Analysis of non-rent and service charge income, such as rechargeable repairs, sundry debts, lease agreement income
