Engineering Planner

My client, an ambitious and exciting company leading the innovation for resource recovery and recycling, transforming waste and plastic for a climate positive future, is looking for an Engineering Planner to join their team on a full time, permanent basis.
We are currently looking to add to the engineering team. Ideally looking for someone with:
- Experience of Holistech web system or similar CMMS and Primavera P6.
- An understanding of maintenance planning and scheduling, spares materials management, asset management tools and techniques.
- Familiar with Plant engineering equipment and terminologies.
- Experience in a planning or scheduling role in a process industry or power plant.
- Extensive experience working with Computerised Maintenance Management systems.
- Significant experience in planning and scheduling work
- Proficient with the MS Office suite of applications.
- Experience in working with Safe
- Systems of Work (PTW), Training will be given.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assist with the scheduling of all site planned and unplanned maintenance activities in accordance of the Work Management Procedure to ensure safe and efficient operation of the Plant.
- Ensure maintenance plans and targets are achievable.
- Work alongside other functions as necessary, assisting with supervision of contractors.
- Conduct plant inspections and area safety inspections.
- Provide support to the Engineering staff to ensure that all reporting within the CMMS is effective and followed through to completion promptly.
- Be a point of contact for the site on the use of CMMS system.
- Manage the work order backlog in the CMMS and work with operations and engineering to prioritise and maintain an acceptable level of backlog.
- Lead weekly planning process and meetings, issuing an agreed maintenance plan for the upcoming weeks.
- Work as part of a team, striving for continual improvement in minimising environmental Health & Safety risk at the plant.
