We are currently recruiting for a Warehouse Operative on a Permanent basis, based in Poole.

Within this role, you will be responsible for looking after the warehouse stock, issuing stock to the tradespeople and undertaking stock checks / audits.

For this role we are looking for you to have;

• Previous experience working in a fast-paced environment.
• Previous experience as a warehouse operative
• Experience of using PCs with the ability to update with stock checks, book in / out of goods and maintain traceability of stock

Your duties will include;

• Keeping accurate records of warehouse stock.
• Conducting regular stock checks and audits.
• Issuing stock to tradespeople's and ensuring their vans are fully stocked
• Implementing and maintaining efficient storage solutions
• Undertaking stock checks / audits
• Using PC to book in/out of stock and maintain accurate records

Key responsibilities within this role will include:

• Taking an active role in the conceptualisation and design development of new products and concepts
• Planning and executing design projects based on given briefs and schedules, ensuring designs match briefs in all aspects of form, aesthetics, technical quality and costing
• Bringing fresh and innovative ideas at each phase of design development
• Communicating with team members in the design studio and across the business to enable the appropriate execution of projects
• Creating visual customer product presentations and liaise with our national account customers

• Liaising directly with manufacturing partners, using existing developed products and components where necessary to reduce development lead times and increase speed to market

What you will need:

• BA in Industrial Design or Product Design is essential
• Working knowledge and experience in the use of Adobe Photoshop & illustrator
• Excellent hand drawing / sketching 2D visualisation skills
• Knowledge of any of the following design software and techniques in both 2D and 3D: Fusion 360, Solidworks, Creo, Rhino, 3DsMax
• The ability to visualise designs as 3D models & mock up’s using our in-house design workshop
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Experience with rendering packages such as Key Shot is an advantage but is not essential

We are recruiting for a Product Photographer to join a leading decorative homeware manufacturer who supply directly to businesses and consumers all around the UK.

This is an initial 6-month contract directly with the company which could be potentially be extended.

Working closely with the Creative Director and Studio Manager, you will be working in the Poole studio and be responsible for delivering high quality lifestyle and technical studio imagery inline with customer brands / aesthetic. Images are used for both websites and print.

The successful candidate will need to be technically sufficient at setting up varied lighting environments, using flash and continuous lighting, in studio equipment maintenance, guideline adherence and photography capture.

You will need to be able to provide a portfolio demonstrating your relevant product photography experience.

Reporting to the Studio Manager and Creative Director, your duties will include;

• Working closely with the retouch and creative teams to ensure that the schedule is agreed and imagery delivered on time
• Helping to drive the direction of our photography and operate calmly under pressure
• Creating high quality digital photography for websites, catalogues and marketing material, in line with style guidelines
• Maintaining consistently high standards, having a critical eye for detail
• Continuously improving the studio’s workflows and processes
• Trouble-shooting photography challenges on set
• Using industry experience and expertise to support the expansion of the photography capabilities
• Maintaining equipment and monitoring and upholding extremely high safety and quality standards

The successful applicant will possess:
• 3 - 5 years’ experience of working in a high volume, creating an array of imagery for online and print
• Creative mindset
• Excellent understanding of photography equipment and software (Adobe Creative Suite and Capture One)
• Proficient in 360 photography
• Good understanding of commercial studio processes (from taking pictures, sending to editors, getting pictures ready for print, working to deadlines)

This well-known business supplies not only the general public but major retail chains such as; Dunelm, Laura Ashley and John Lewis. You will act as the primary point of contact for all stock related enquiries from these customers.

This position would suit an individual who possesses excellent communication skills along with analytical, forecasting and reporting skills, ability to crunch and analyse numbers, analysing high volumes of data to determine trends, patterns, stock data and product demand.

You will also help support 2 Inventory Analysts in the absence of the Inventory Manager when they are off-site.

Some of your duties will include:

• Having full ownership of product lifecycle from launch, promotions, and stock exit.
• Acting as the first point of contact for customers including resolution of stock issues.
• Planning and scheduling product availability and optimising stock holding, working with Far East suppliers / UK customers to maintain the business's KPI targets
• Preparing forecasts to incorporate seasonality with a monthly review of all SKUs to ensure that the correct orders are placed & prioritised
• Using forecasting management tools / web portals and Excel to forecast order
• Assisting with report generation, data analysis and forecasting
• Liaising with suppliers regarding order requirements
• Administration duties including ensuring portals and databases are kept up to date with performance and progress
• Supporting 2 Inventory Analysts on occasions where the Inventory Manager is off site.

We would like our ideal candidates to possess:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a supply chain / inventory position
• Strong experience with Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP, exporting data and changing tables)
• The ability to analyse data, produce forecasts and generate accurate reports to establish patterns
