Job Description:

• To provide an overall finance support/processing service to various clients in a flexible manner, ensuring that an effective, efficient and customer focused service is delivered within required KPI, PI and activity timescales.
• To work as part of a team using an adult care case management system for service users requiring direct payments, provider payments, deferred payments, residential and non-residential assessments.
• To ensure that the advice is interpreted and managed within local policies and national guidance to direct payments, provider payments, deferred payments, residential and non-residential assessments.
• To ensure that complex data management is provided on behalf of the local authority and falls within local policies and national guidance to process and maintain direct payments, provider payments, deferred payments, residential and non-residential
• To manage workload and prioritise tasks effectively and extract data to help support any service user complaints/requests (including SARS or FOI).
• Effectively communicate with outside bodies such as legal service organisations etc.
• To deal with routine correspondence and telephone enquiries of a personal and confidential nature pertaining to service user's financial details and the payments to service providers.
• To deal with daily incoming and outgoing post for the direct payments, provider payments, deferred payments, residential and non-residential assessments teams within agreed timescales and deadlines.
• To work together with your colleagues in reviewing and updating procedures to improve quality and consistency.
• To maintain effective working relationships with Lincolnshire County Council staff, providers of services, service users, and other professionals.
• To maintain computer and manual filing systems.

A local authority in Nottingham is recruiting for a Gateway, Temporary and Supported Accommodation Manager to be responsible for ensuring that the Council's duties in respect to the provision of temporary and emergency accommodation are fulfilled, ensuring that suitable offers of temporary and permanent accommodation are provided for Housing Solutions customers in compliance with homelessness legislation

The Role

The Gateway, Temporary & Supported Accommodation Manager will ensure the Council's responsibilities regarding temporary and emergency accommodation are met. This includes securing suitable housing solutions, managing the Temporary & Supported Accommodation Team, and leading the Homelessness Gateway.

• Operational responsibility for ensuring sufficient temporary accommodation provision, including sourcing emergency options.
• Managing the Temporary & Supported Accommodation Team to comply with homelessness legislation and meet household needs.
• Leading the Homelessness Gateway, securing placements from housing and support providers.
• Working with commissioners to establish targets and outcomes for housing providers, monitoring performance and ensuring effective partnerships.
• Providing advice and assistance on homelessness prevention and leading relevant development projects.

The Candidate

To be considered for this role you will require MRICS with post qualification experience suitable to the level of the post.

As a family support worker your role is full time working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm and requires you to be a driver as you may be working throughout the area sitting in Supervised Contact, looking into Safeguarding concerns and working closely with a range of Social Workers to tackle each case on a individual basis.

As a Family Support Worker you will be working Monday-Friday 9am-5pm with the possibility of hybrid working while paying £14.56ph and 45p per mile.
