Our client based in South London are currently recruiting for a Corporate H&S Officer to join their internal team as soon as possible.
This is a full time, ongoing, temporary role with the ideal candidate having experience of H&S within an Internal and Corporate environment.
The purpose of the role is to be responsible for providing health and safety advice that ensures the organisations compliance with health and safety legislation, developing and writing safety policies and procedures and reviewing reports sent to Corporate Health and Safety.
We are looking for an officer to assist Corporate Health and Safety in undertaking their duties in relation to this project. This will include arranging and attending meetings, undertaking risk assessments, record keeping, and answering queries received. As part of their role, the officer will be expected to liaise with colleagues across the organisation to provide advice and assist them in pushing actions forward.
Summary of main responsibilities and duties:
- To provide advice and support to staff on this project.
- To undertake risk assessments.
- To undertake administrative tasks, such as arranging meetings and coordinating attendees for training.
- To undertake actions identified for Corporate Health and Safety in regards to this project.
- To undertake under any other activities required to support Corporate Health and Safety in meeting its responsibilities. As part of the organisations hybrid working approach, the organisation have adopted a flexible approach to homeworking.
Our client is looking to move quickly and therefore are looking for someone to start in January. The Council are paying £18 per hour Umbrella LTD for the role (Inside IR35).
