What skills and experience we're looking for
We are looking to appoint a full-time, enthusiastic and dynamic Director of Music to join a dedicated team of staff within the Performing Arts Faculty. The successful candidate will have strategic development for music across the whole school to inspire young people in the subject. Candidates need to have a passion for music, have the ability to drive the subject forward in a strategic way, and have at least three years teaching experience. They should also hold a good honours degree, be capable of high quality and enthusiastic teaching of Music & Music Technology to A Level and have a vision for the development of music at a school such as Maidstone Grammar School.
