Due to continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced Hospitality Assessor to join our clients JGW+ team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing and supporting learners in achieving their hospitality qualifications. This role involves visiting learners at their workplace, conducting assessments, providing feedback, and ensuring all regulatory and compliance requirements are met.
We are keen to hear from candidates who have sound knowledge and experience within the hospitality field with experience of delivering the NVQ Levels in Hospitality
You will be able to provide outstanding support for learners and be able to demonstrate your organisational and planning skills and talk through your achievements and learner successes. Your role will be to conduct and evaluate individual initial assessment ensuring all learners are on the correct programme at the right level. To develop positive relationships with learners and employers on a monthly basis. To actively promote the use of e-portfolio to all learners and employers. To ensure all learners participate in an ‘exit interview’ to be undertaken as part of quality assurance visits, which encompasses all aspects of the process. You will also need to be flexible
Ideally you will have experience of the following:
Deliver training programmes to assigned learners clients, ensuring the highest possible standards are achieved.
Covering a regional area and travelling to visit learners in the workplace to undertake assessments.
Complete ILP’s and map out learning routes for individuals.
Reference and mark evidence collated in the workplace for key skill requirements.
Completion of learner attendance records and learner-guided contact hours, ensuring audit requirements are met.
Contribute to the planning, monitoring, and achievement of agreed performance targets.
To arrange further training through day release and to deliver in-house training support as required.
Maintain appropriate records of the client’s achievements and meet performance criteria as laid down by relevant awarding bodies.

Experience of delivery within the required area of training
Experience of Work-Based Learning
Experience of Award Body Practices
ESW Communication Level 2
ESW Application of Number Level 2
Occupational experience within the route of delivery.
Apprenticeship delivery experience with the route of delivery.
Full driving licence with use of own vehicle
City & Guilds 9300 Level 2 in supporting adults and young people in essential skills (or willing to work towards)
A1 Assessor Award or equivalent qualification
