The communications team at University Hospitals of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust (UHDB) are recruiting for an expert in communications and engagement to support two strategic priorities; the implementation of our new electronic patient record (EPR) system, and our maternity improvement programme.
We are looking for a strategic, motivated and bright communications professional to join us for a career opportunity for up to two years.

Content includes patient, staff and corporate publication; campaigns and planning; Trust website and intranet; social media management; events; design; media handling; and stakeholder advice and support.
In this role you'll provide dedicated communications support to UHDB, based largely at Royal Derby Hospital, working across all functions including media, digital communications, internal communications, engagement, events and branding to help deliver the team's communications plans and ambitions in EPR and for our maternity service over the next two years.
You'll be managed by the head of communications, and work closely with leaders in the EPR programme and within Maternity.
