The Engineering Planner role is to manage the delivery of the O&M Programme to the respective teams within the PFI contract region. The job holder will maintain the Computerised maintenance management system (CMMS) to ensure that preventative, corrective and reactive maintenance is correctly prioritised and schedule.

What you'll be doing;
- Effective tactical delivery of the planned and corrective maintenance functions. This will include full operation and prioritisation of work processes.
- Manage work requests as they are received making evaluated real time decisions on the best use of the available resource.
- Ensure that all data captured is accurate allowing effective reporting to benefit the efficient operation of the contract.
- Coordinate the scheduling/delivery of H&S tasking and related actions thus ensuring compliance with Veolia Health & Safety policy.
- Effective delivery of statutory and regulatory requirements.
- Support in the Optimisation and Maintenance of all processes and assets
- Provide technical support/feedback to senior members of the maintenance and operations teams to facilitate capital work interventions.
- Manage on-site activities through the correct use of all relevant Permit to Work systems.
What we're looking for;
Essential:
- Experience in the process environment of Wastewater
- Previous experience of planning work through CMMS
- Understanding of Maintenance and Operational activities
- Experience of the management and safe supervision of contractors
- Competent in the use of Google sheets/docs
- Full driving licence
Desirable:
- Skills in running and maintaining Wastewater processes and assets or similar
- Practical knowledge of Google packages, experience of computerised maintenance management package(s)
- Experience in either Mechanical or Electrical engineering
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good commercial awareness
