The Supervisory Administrative Officer duties include, but are not limited to:

• Interprets current administrative policies and implementing new administrative policies when necessary.

• Duty 2: Serves as the unit administrative support specialist for all government related responsibilities. Serves as the ATAAPS Customer Service Representative (CSR), Timekeeper, Defense Civilian Payroll System (DCPS) and Forms & Account Management Service (FAMS) Monitor.

• Duty 3: Performs other administrative work in support of the office/organization including meeting support, special event planning, and program reviews. Independently creates meeting minutes and follows-up on action items/commitments made during meetings and conferences by Division leadership and staff members.

• Duty 4: Provides Administrative and Records Management. Develops, establishes, updates, and maintains office procedures and standard processes, including electronic records management and document libraries ensuring effective and efficient operation of the office.

• Duty 5: Serves as the primary unit Activity Distribution Office (ADO) and Defense Travel System (DTS) Representative. Reviews and processes incoming and outgoing mail, correspondence, publications, regulations and directives associated.

As a Lead Administrative Program Specialist at the GS-0301-13 some of your typical work assignments may include:

• Lead the team in identifying, distributing, and balancing workload and tasks among employees in accordance with established workflow, skill level and/or occupational specialization.
