YOUR ROLE
You'll provide Business Continuity (BC) expertise to Kuehne + Nagel Government and Defence (KNGD), working within the Programme, Risk, and Infrastructure team to deliver a tailored BC program. This includes training KNGD employees, creating documentation and processes in line with industry standards, and supporting local management during incidents
YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
- To provide Business Continuity (BC) expertise, conducting business impact analysis activities for all functions based in Donnington and Bicester.
- Provide BC support and advice to local management teams during an incident.
- Support the Risk manager to ensure operations stay resilient during any unplanned event
- Use provided templates to draft additional BC documentation as and when required.
- Contribute to the review of the Business Continuity Disaster Recovery Plans.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with all stakeholders to ensure BC awareness remains high.
- Support the business with audits, reports or compliance checks as and when required.
- Provide recommendations on remedial action plans to mitigate identified risks to service delivery.
- Manage the development and facilitation of BC training and awareness exercises and provide input into customer training exercises.
- Provide input, support, and liaison to functional areas on site in relation to their specific BC arrangements.
YOUR SKILLS AND EXPERIENCES
- Strong co-ordination and administrative skills
- Ability to analyse data and provide key findings
- Knowledge of business continuity would be advantageous
- High level of attention to detail
- ICT skills including strong proficiency in M/S Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- Strong desire to pursue a career in Business Continuity.
- Communication and Presentation Skills.
