Permanent, Residential Team Leader (Full-Time) - job vacancy, Kendal, Cumbria (South Lakes Area)


Location: Kendal, Cumbria, South Lakes (commutable from Windermere, Ambleside, Grange-over-Sands, Milnthorpe, Kirkby Lonsdale, Penrith, and surrounding areas).

Benefits:

Salary: £30,300 - £32,000 per annum.
Sleep-in: £65 per sleep, approx. £3,120/year.
Contract: Full-Time (39 hours/week) or Part-Time options.
1 sleep per week for 48 weeks a year.

Duties:

Lead and support residential care staff.
Create a safe and supportive environment for young residents.
Manage care plans, activities, and daily routines.
Ensure compliance with CQC and safeguarding regulations.

Criteria:

Level 3 in Children & Young People or Children's Residential Care (or equivalent).
Essential: 1+ years' experience in a residential care setting.
Car Driver Required.

Compliance: This role is exempt from the Rehabilitation of Offenders Act 1974; all applicants must disclose convictions and cautions.

Role: Adult Support Worker

Location: Lindale, Grange over Sands

Salary: Up to £28,908.36 per annum (sleep-in shifts paid extra) plus £2000 Welcome Bonus*

Hours: Full Time, Permanent (43.5 hours per week, 12 hour days on a 2 week rolling rota)

A typical shift pattern would be on a 2 week rotation – e.g. week 1 Mon, Tues, Sat, Sun and week 2 Weds, Thur, Fri.

Essential: A Full UK Driving Licence and access to your own vehicle - we need this because our young people and adults often have days out and so will need your help getting around to ensure they can enjoy these fulfilling days out!

Options Grange View is a home for individuals who are more independent and benefit from having access in to the local community, good transport links and the opportunity to access vocational education, paid employment or volunteering. Occupants here benefit from opportunities to increase independence skills, self-help skills, basic life skills and personal care.
