About the role:

NHP are currently seeking an experienced Events Coordinator / Executive Assistant to seamlessly manage executive administrative tasks while coordinating high-quality events that reflect the company's standards and values.
Reporting to the Managing Director / CEO, your responsibilities will include:

EVENT PLANNING AND COORDINATION

o Meticulously planning, organizing, and executing corporate events, meetings, conferences, ensuring all events are aligned with the company's objectives and branding. Ensure that every detail is accounted for and that each event runs smoothly.
o Arranging and coordinating services, such as conference facilities, catering, signage, displays, audiovisual equipment, accommodation, transport, and social events for participants, ensuring that all logistical aspects are seamlessly integrated.
o Organising registration of participants to manage attendance efficiently and effectively.
o Negotiating the type and costs of services to be provided within budget, ensuring that all financial aspects are managed prudently.
o Overseeing work by contractors and reporting on variations to work orders, thereby maintaining quality control and ensuring that all contractual obligations are fulfilled.
o Budget Management: Assist in the preparation and management of event budgets, ensuring cost-efficiency and adherence to financial guidelines.

EXECUTIVE SUPPORT

o Provide comprehensive administrative support to the Managing Director / CEO, including calendar management, travel arrangements, and handling confidential information.
o Communication Management: Act as the primary point of contact between the Managing Director / CEO and internal/external stakeholders, ensuring smooth and timely communication.
o Document Preparation: Prepare, proofread, and edit documents, reports, presentations, and correspondence for the Managing Director / CEO.
o Meeting Coordination: Schedule, coordinate, and manage logistics for executive meetings, including preparing agendas, taking minutes, and following up on action items.
o Office Administration: Oversee the day-to-day administrative functions of the executive office, including office supply management and liaising with other departments.
o Special Projects: Undertake special projects and assignments as directed by the Managing Director / CEO, contributing to the strategic initiatives of the company.

Ideally you will have / be:

• Tertiary Qualifications in Event Management
• Previous experience in Event Coordination / planning & EA support at a CEO level
• Proficiency in budgeting, cost estimation and financial management
• Excellent organisational & time management skills
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Proficient in MS Office suite including MS Word, MS Powerpoint & MS Excel

 About the Role


The University of Melbourne is seeking a dynamic early-career academic with expertise in Industrial Engineering, or cognate areas such as Manufacturing and Industrial Systems Engineering. You will make a significant contribution to the teaching, research and administration of the School of EMI. You will teach in graduate programs and take on administrative roles commensurate with the position. You will be an aspiring leader in industrial engineering research, with ambition to publish in high quality journals and conferences, mentor research students and secure independent grant funding to support a program of research. Active collaboration with other research groups in the School and the Faculty of Engineering and Information Technology is encouraged, as is interaction with industry and government agencies.

Your responsibilities will include:

Provide a significant degree of scholarly research initiative and collaboration in the discipline of industrial engineering

Coordinate and conduct lectures and tutorials at postgraduate level, including engagement in teaching innovation and improvement;
Develop and innovate high quality subject materials and project based subject delivery;
Exercise leadership in scholarly research, in conjunction with other colleagues;
You will also have:

PhD in Industrial Engineering, or equivalent
Research interests in lean, smart manufacturing, and/or digital transformation
A track record of quality research as evidenced by research publications in leading journals and conferences commensurate with opportunity
Demonstrated ability to perform independent research and a commitment to interdisciplinary research
Experience with undertaking collaborative research projects as part of a team across institutions and/or disciplines especially in the areas of manufacturing and industrial engineering
Evidence of well-established and excellent quality research track record and leadership in industrial engineering and manufacturing
Building an international reputation, evidenced through high-impact peer-reviewed and refereed journals, and invitations to speak at national and international meetings and/or leadership of nationally or internationally significant research projects

A net new sales executive hunting into a focused list of strategic target accounts, you will be entrepreneurial in nature and excel at building pipeline, creating and closing new opportunities. By using a consultative approach to value-based selling, you will lead with IFS's award winning products while also having access to the broader portfolio to bring value to our customers. You will use your industry knowledge and enterprise software sales expertise to identify and qualify deals, leading to sales opportunities with both new and existing customers.

• Liaison with Sales leadership and Global teams to build a strong internal network and collaboration
• Manage and maintain complete CRM and Account hygiene, at all times, along with sales cadence, administration and reporting to ensure accurate forecasting
