Prior to submission, the Puerto Rico Finance Manager will review each forecast with the assigned business unit commercial and finance lead.  Finally, the Puerto Rico Finance Manger will work with the marketing brand teams in the development of the annual Operating Plan and Long Range Forecasts.

• Expense Management – The Puerto Rico Finance Manager must collaborate with brand teams on expense management of budgets and on the development of expense forecasts. The Puerto Rico Finance Manager will manage Puerto Rico market field force financial activities and cost center reporting including budgeting, forecasting, expense reporting and analysis.    

• Month/Quarter Close – The Puerto Rico Finance Manager is responsible for key accounting activities required at period close. This includes recording expense accruals, recording contractual rebates, completing balance sheet reconciliations, GMX cost of sales analysis and performing accounts receivable reviews.

  Reporting – The Puerto Rico Finance Manager is responsible for tracking brand performance (i.e. weekly, monthly, and quarterly) as well as identifying and communicating key performance drivers to the North America Finance Lead, Commercial Leaders including Brand and Finance management.

• Provide analysis and insight into the Sub BU and brand P&Ls including revenues, cost of sales, and A&P spend which requires that there is an understanding of the products and their competitive

Job Description:
The Business Banking Business Development Officer (BDO) is responsible for cultivating relationships with prospects and generating new clients for Business Banking. The BDO prospects and networks in larger metropolitan markets to identify and develop new Business Banking client relationships with operating companies for the bank. The BDO maintains and builds a network of prospects by working with internal and external centers of influence, commercial referral sources, and prospect lists provided by marketing intelligence. Once a relationship is established and the initial transaction is complete, the BDO transfers the client to a Business Banking Client Manager or Relationship Manager to deepen and expand the long term banking relationship, allowing the BDO to focus on the primary role of acquiring new relationships. The BDOs primary sales focus includes operating accounts, cash management and other payments services, Business Loans, Lines of Credit, Commercial Real Estate Loans, and various other Business Banking products and services offered across the bank. The Sr. BB BDO has extensive commercial sales and/or client management experience with a proven year over year high performance track record. Sr. BDO may also mentor or coach other BB BDOs sharing guidance and best practices that will drive stronger long term performance of incumbents in that role

Responsibilities:

• Cultivating new relationships with Government Contracting prospects in Business Banking and Combine Coverage markets across the country.  BDO will work closely with local teams during prospect identification, calling, due-diligence, onboarding and underwriting processes.  Thereafter, the new relationship will be managed by the local client team.
• As needed, assisting local client teams that are extending credit for the first time to existing Government Contracting clients with due diligence, underwriting and interactions with Risk.
• As needed, assisting client teams that are materially increasing credit for the first time to existing Government Contracting clients with due diligence, underwriting and interactions with Risk.
• Building and maintaining a network of internal and external COIs that facilitate new Government Contracting relationships.
• Working with internal partners and stakeholders to further develop and refine our go-to market strategy in the Government Contracting sector.
• Act as SME to each of their respective Business Banking regions, providing education to market leaders on our capabilities and assisting with identification of Government Contracting opportunities in the local markets.
• Participate in external trade shows, conferences, speaking engagements, etc. that support our external brand and marketing strategy, and drive new Government Contracting business opportunities.

Required Qualifications:

• 5-10 years of experience in Government Contracting Industry or Contracting Officer role  
• An existing COI and industry network and knowledge in the market
